Ferry Breaks

Interested in ferry breaks, then why not try the cambrian routes two night ferry breaks which have been created specifically for people who are travelling from Ireland to either Pembroke or Fishguard. The start of the break begins with us meeting you at the ferry terminal, from there we will transport you to the lovely Seaview Hotel which is situated in Goodwick, we shall then consort with yourselves for a full afternoon and then accompany you the following day giving you a guided tour with guides fully conversant in the history of all the sites that you shall visit during the stay.

On the first afternoon of the ferry breaks we shall accompany you to Abereiddy, where upon arrival one is invited to inspect what is left of the workers huts and other buildings which have a relation to the quarry that was the bread and butter of all the villagers there. Every one was involved in the mining of the slate at this quarry, the men down the pits the young boys bringing the slate from the pit face, the women and girls cooking food and having everything prepared, it is a real insight into how a mining village used to work, also there you can visit the blue lagoon which is very inspiring.

Our next point of call on the ferry breaks is St. Davids which, if you didn't already know, is the smallest city in the united kingdom, this city was founded sometime around the sixth century, by the patron saint of wales, pilgrims visit this city every year now, there have been many famous visitors to this small city, so you shall be walking in the footsteps of some of historys greats including William the Conqueror. A must see on these breaks are of course St. Davids Cathedral, the bishops palace and nons well.
